An 80-year-old man stood nervously before the judge as the courtroom fell silent.
The judge looked over his paperwork and shook his head.
“Sir, aren’t you ashamed? At your age, you’re accused of harassing a woman!”
The judge raised an eyebrow.
“You’re not some 20-year-old kid we can simply let off with a warning!”
The old man coughed, adjusted his glasses, and looked up innocently.
“Your Honor… may I explain?”
“Go ahead,” the judge replied.
“I was only 18 years old when I flirted with her.”
The judge blinked.
“Then why are you standing here at 80?”
The old man sighed.
“That’s the problem, Your Honor…”
“With all the delays, postponements, and court continuances…”
“…I finally got my turn!”
The judge stared at him for a moment.
Then he quietly closed the file.
“Case dismissed.”
