Dogs are actuallyman’s best buddy. They make such devoted, caring friends, and their affection can mean the world to individuals who don’t have much in life.
Homeless people have found so great solace in their dogs’ company that there have been accounts of people prioritizing the health of their dogs over their own.
Recently, a homeless man was spotted throwing his dog a birthday party, which was both unexpected and endearing. And the stranger was compelled to assist when a bystander noticed the kind deed.
A guy called Choco José Luis Matos has spent a number of years living on Colombia’s streets. He was homeless, The Dodo claims, having fled a vi0lent household.
Living on the streets, Choco is dependent on the affection of his two closest companions, Nena and Shaggy, his dogs.
A recent act of affection he displayed for his pets made a bystander surprised, which allowed the public to learn about his story.
In a park in Bucaramanga, Colombia, a stranger noticed that the dogs were wearing party hats and recognized Choco.
Choco then started singing and presented a cake adorned with candles. As it happens, Shaggy celebrated his birthday. Choco chose to throw his cherished pet a surprise party and even sing for him despite having so little.
The stranger recorded the kind deed on camera, and the video quickly went viral. Despite having so little, many were touched that this man would go above and beyond to do something extra for his dogs.
The stranger’s story moved Choco, and many other people also offered to help.
In addition to receiving food and supplies from the public, Choco has grown to be somewhat of a local celebrity. In one video, people can be seen congregating to snap pictures of Choco and his dogs:
Choco’s life seems to be beginning to improve with all of this additional assistance, and ideally he won’t be homeless for very long.
According to Yahoo News Malaysia, Choco has stated that he wants to pursue music and start an animal refuge.
We wish him many more years of throwing even grander and better puppy birthday celebrations.
What a touching tale—it warms my heart to watch someone go above and beyond to take such good care of their dogs, especially when they don’t have many.
