The late singer and songwriter’s loved ones are still disturbed from his recent passing as his youngest daughter and daughter-in-law paid heartfelt tributes to him.
Kelly Osbourne uploaded her Instagram Stories on August 4, 2025, sharing appreciation to fans who have showered her family with support following the passing of her father, Ozzy Osbourne.
“I’ve sat down to write this a hundred times and still don’t know if the words will ever feel like enough… but from the bottom of my heart, thank you 💜,” she started in the post.
The fashion designer wrote that “the love, support, and beautiful messages” she received from supporters have helped carry her amid these challenging times in her life.
“Every kind word, every shared memory, every bit of compassion has meant more than I can ever explain,” she said.
“Grief is a strange thing — it sneaks up on you in waves — I will not be ok for a while — but knowing my family are [sic] not alone in our pain makes a difference. I’m holding on tight to the love, the light, and the legacy left behind.”
The 40-year-old British native thanked fans for their unchanging support and showed her adoration for them. “– Kelly ❤️✨ #BirminghamForever #OzzyForever,” she concluded.
She is not the only family member who remembered him. Her sister-in-law, Aree Osbourne, also paid tribute to Ozzy on Instagram, writing:
“I’m pretty sure I have the coolest father in law around, and the best papa to my kids. The world got a rockstar but we got an ice lolly loving, goofy, big hearted guy who made us laugh like no other.”
Aree wrote that the Black Sabbath frontman was always on her side and that she is grateful to him for raising her husband, Jack Osbourne, and for blessing her with her family.
“[…] Keep giving us all those signs from above 🖤✨ We’ll keep your name loud, your stories alive, and your love wrapped around us like armor. Forever our guy,” she added.
The family patriarch passed away at 76 on July 22, 2025. His loved ones gave him a fitting send-off by allowing a funeral procession at the Black Sabbath Bridge bench on Broad Street for fans to bid farewell on July 30 in Birmingham, England.
Both Sharon and her eldest child, Aimee, were visibly emotional as they broke down in tears while fans yelled Ozzy’s name over and over.
Aimee has largely lived her life away from the limelight, so her appearance at the funeral procession was unusual. She even decided not to appear on the family’s reality show, “The Osbournes.”
During an appearance on the “Disrespectfully” podcast on July 16, 2025, Jack shared that he and Aimee are not close. “We don’t have a great relationship. She’ll be the first to tell you that. So, it’s no secret,” he admitted.
When asked if he would question his sister about why she selected not to appear on “The Osbournes,” he said he has never asked her directly. However, he believes that, deep down, she may wonder how her life would have resulted if she had attended the show.
Ozzy, best known as the establishing frontman of Black Sabbath, helped shape the sound of heavy metal and became one of its most continuing cultural figures.
Kelly Osbourne’s arrival paid particular attention as she appeared alongside her partner, musician Sid Wilson, and their young son, Sidney. She was seen waving at fans and joining her family to view tributes to her father.
Eagle-eyed netizens quickly spotted a small tribute paid by Kelly to her late father: she was wearing his iconic sunglasses.
“is kelley wearing her dads iconic glasses? [sic],” wondered one fan. “Aaah Kelly is wearing his glasses. I felt this 😢😢,” wrote another, with a third adding, “Aww Kelly’s glasses in honor@of [sic] her dad. Sweet tribute. RIP Ozzy.”
One fan noticed their resemblance, writing, “From that angle, Kelly looks just like her Dad!”
