The Duchess of Sussex has made a heartbreaking confession and left fans devastated.
Meghan Markle appeared on The Jamie Kern Lima Show as a podcast guest and opened up to listeners.
She’s ventured into the world of podcasting herself, opening up about devastating baby news and her health complications on her podcast, Confessions of a Female Founder.
Now, as a guest for the first time on a podcast, The Duchess of Sussex has revealed an emotional truth to fans.
Meghan Markle sat down for a ‘cozy sweats with no makeup’ interview with Jamie Kern Lima, the co-founder of IT Cosmetics.
The duchess was asked about her current situation, causing her to reveal she’s experiencing ‘a lot of pinch-me moments right now’ while balancing multiple projects.
This includes the rebrand and launch of her lifestyle brand, formerly known as ‘American Riviera Orchard,’ to ‘As Ever.’
It launched with nine products, including fruit preserves, and sold out in less than an hour.
Also, Markle has starred in her own Netflix series, With Love, Meghan, sharing hosting, gardening, and cooking tips with guests.
“I work so hard and I appreciate what hard work looks like,” she said. “The moment that everything sells out, it doesn’t mean that we’re done.”
Markle continued to say that her Montecito home currently ‘looks like a Costco or something – there are boxes everywhere,’ likely referring to her ‘As Ever’ products.
Elsewhere in the podcast episode, the mom-of-two opened up about family life.
“I’m happy, and the kids are healthy and H [Prince Harry] is great,” Markle confirmed.
She added that despite all her recent successes, it’s family who ‘fill up’ her ‘cup.’
Markle also acknowledged the heavy media scrutiny she has faced in recent years, adding she’s only read ‘1%’ of the things written about her.
The duchess confessed: “We spend so much of our lives trying to prove something. To prove that you’re enough. You have to prove that you’re pretty enough. You have to prove that you’re smart enough.
“I’m just so done with the prove it game. And if you can’t see it, I can’t, I don’t need to prove to you why. That’s your loss.”
She added: “Because I know that I’m a great friend, and I know the kind of mom I am, and I know the kind of human being I am.”
Lima praised Markle, calling her ‘the most generous friend’ who ‘shows up for your friends.’
