Jon Bon Jovi calls his mother Carol Bongiovi a “force to be reckoned with” and says she will be “greatly missed.” She d!ed just days before her birthday.
JASON Carol Bongiovi, Bon Jovi’s mother, passed away. She was 83 years old, just three days before her birthday.
Jon said some very sad things about Carol after she d!ed at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch, New Jersey.
“Our mother was a force to be reckoned with, her spirit and can-do attitude shaped this family,” Jon told the news.
“She will be greatly missed.”
Carol, who used to have a Playboy bunny, started the fan club for her son’s band.
In 1959, she joined the U.S. Marine Corps, and that’s where she met John Bongiovi, Sr., the man she would later marry.
They moved their kids to Sayreville, New Jersey, and raised them there.
After some time, they moved to Holmdel, New Jersey, and she lived there until she d!ed.
According to PEOPLE, the funeral for Carol will be private and will be run by Holmdel Funeral Home.
Carol’s husband of 63 years and their three children, Jon, Anthony, and Matthew, will miss her very much.
Jon had said before that his parents gave him “incredible support” when he was a kid and wanted to be a singer.
“Even if you weren’t good at your craft, you could work on it if you thought you were.”, he told The Big Issue in November 2020.
I realized that was a great gift from my parents as I got older.
As per John F. Kennedy, they really believed that they could go to the moon. “Definitely, you can go to the moon.” Oh, Johnny, just go. After that I went there.
When he was 17, the musician’s parents would take him to shows.
Jon remembered that when he was 17, his parents let him play gigs because they believed in his dreams.
“They were always supportive of me, which in retrospect, was incredible,” he stated.
It’s possible for me to get home at midnight or dawn, but I still have to be at school by eight o’clock.
“They just said, show up on time for school, you know that is your responsibility, but pursue your dream.”
Donna Hurley, Jon’s high school sweetheart, is his wife.
Apart from their daughter Stephanie, who is 31, they have three sons named Jesse, Jake, and Romeo.
It was exclusively reported by The Sun that model Jake married Stranger Things actress Millie Bobby Brown in a small, private ceremony in May 2024.
Millie’s parents and Jon were at the small wedding.
In an interview with The Sun, he talked about how excited he was about the wedding.
“My grandchildren will speak English better than Italian or any of my other heritages!” What the heck is that?” The famous rock star yelled.
“Wow, all of a sudden your kids are married and talking to you about having grandchildren… wow!” “This is the longest chapter in my book besides the first one.”
