Didn’t I marry you two last year?
Ted and Mary were walking down the street when a priest stopped them and said,
“Didn’t I marry you two last year?”
Ted replied, “Yes, Father, you did.”
He asks, “So… any kids yet?”
She beams,
“You could say that, just the triplets the first year and then six more after that, one every nine months!” 👶
The priest’s eyes widened in amazement.
“My goodness! What a remarkable blessing! That’s a wonderful family you’ve built.”
Then he looked around curiously.
“But where’s your husband, Ted? I don’t see him standing beside you.”
Mary smiled, sighed and replied,
“He’s gone to Rome…”
“Rome? Whatever for?”
Mary answered,
“To blow out your bl00dy candle!”
