Mom Is Caught Stealing Groceries, Then Police Officer Sees Her 3 Kids And Changes Mind
Recently, two police officer in North Carolina responded to a call made by the staff of a local Food Lion grocery store about a woman who was seen stealing items of off the shelves.
Senior Corporal Keith Bradshaw and Officer 1st Class Candace Spragins, drove to the suspect’s home to arrest her. As soon as the two officers arrived at the house, the woman at once returned the $36 worth of food she’d stolen and broke down crying. She kept apologizing and explained that she was a mother with three adopted children who were all starving.
The woman added that recently she had been injured and unable to bring home an income to supply for her family. Her children hadn’t eaten in three days, and the police officers saw the evidence of that after they looked inside of the woman’s empty fridge and freezer. But Senior Corporal Keith Bradshaw and Officer 1st Class Candace Spragins didn’t just let her off the hook and leave. No, instead the police officers went to the grocery store themselves to buy this needy family groceries! They went above and beyond to help out this woman and her kids. The family is extremely grateful for the cop’s kind and thoughtful actions!
