Breakfast Instructions
One Saturday morning, a wife was in the kitchen making breakfast.
She had just cracked a couple of eggs into the frying pan when her husband rushed in.
“Careful!” he shouted.
“Don’t cook them too fast! Add more butter! No, no… turn them! Hurry! They’re going to burn!”
His wife frowned, but before she could answer, he kept going.
“Watch it! Flip them now! Don’t forget the salt! A little more butter! You’re cooking too many at once! Slow down! Careful!”
She finally slammed the spatula onto the counter and stared at him.
“What is wrong with you?”
“I’ve been cooking eggs for years. Do you really think I don’t know how to fry a couple of eggs?”
Her husband smiled calmly and said,
“I know you do.”
“I just wanted you to know what it feels like when I’m driving.”
