Effortlessly Clean Your Bathtub: Only a Few Drops for a Like-New Finish!
A gleaming clean bathtub does not require hours of scrubbing. With a simple homemade solution derived from common household materials, you can easily remove soap scum, stains, and filth. Here’s a trick:
Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons liquid dish soapĀ (cuts through grease and grime)
- 1 cup white vinegarĀ (disinfects and removes stains)
- 1/2 cup baking sodaĀ (for gentle scrubbing and deodorizing)
- 1 cup warm water
- Optional: A few drops of your favorite essential oil for a fresh scent
How to Prepare the Solution?
- Warm the white vinegar gently (but do not boil it). Warm vinegar is excellent for stubborn stains.
- Combine the warm vinegar and dish soap in a spray bottle.
- Add the baking soda gradually to avoid fizzing overflow.
- Throw warm water into the bottle and gently shake to mix.
How To Use It
- Spray the Tub: liberally apply the solution to the whole surface of the bathtub, concentrating on stained or filthy regions.
- Let It Sit: Allow the solution to settle for 10ā15 minutes. This provides it time to dissolve soap scum and loosen grime.
- Wipe or scrub: Using a soft sponge or cloth, remove the filth. Use a non-scratch scrub pad to get to harder places.
- Wash: Clean the tub completely with warm water to eliminate any remaining residue.
