5 Things Even The Most Kind-Hearted People Won’t Tolerate In A Relationship

Even when you are a kind-hearted person, never tolerate these things in a relationship
1. Disrespectful language

First of all, a healthy relationship begins with respect for both individuals. Never tolerate someone who calls you names, puts you down or makes you feel uncomfortable in any way. Even if you have a heated argument, it doesn’t give your partner the right to treat you with disrespect just because they can’t control their language.

2. An overly controlling partner

If your partner can’t let you out of their sight without freaking out or thinking you’ll break their trust, then this should raise some red flags. You should never tolerate someone who feels the need to control every aspect of your life and your relationship.

3. A breach of trust

Mutual trust must exist in a relationship for it to thrive. If you can’t trust your partner, you should either talk to them about it or end the relationship before you get in too deep. Both partners must feel comfortable, open, and supported in the relationship to work, and a lack of trust will kill an otherwise healthy relationship.

4. Emotional and verbal abus3

If your partner makes fun of you, insults/belittles you when you try to express yourself in public, then you should be aware that these are forms of emotional and verbal abus3. Controlling behaviour and other unhealthy actions like not feeling good about you in public are things that you shouldn’t tolerate in a relationship.

5. Physical abus3

This is when your partner resorts to using violenc3 or physically hurting you in all ways. This is a cue for you to leave the relationship. Physical abus3 includes h!tting and the use of objects to infl!ct pain on you. Physical abus3 should not be tolerated or endured in a relationship, especially when your partner refuses to change their behaviour.

6. When your partner appears busy but shows up for others

When you notice that your partner appears busy and gives you little or no attention but keeps on attending to others, this might be a cue for you to let go. Your partner might be avoiding you and might not want to let go due to fear or pity.

Never tolerate this in your relationship. No one can be too busy for someone they love dearly. Love is meant to draw you closer and not far from each other.

7. When your partner shies away from your relationship publicly

When your partner starts to make it a secret then you should know that there is a hidden motive. Love cannot be hidden, especially when you spend more time together. You shouldn’t be with someone who is embarrassed to have you around or even introduce you to close family members.

Discuss this with your partner to know your stand as soon as possible so you will know when to opt out.
