One of our most despised emotions is disgust. However, there are instances when we cannot avoid seeing or witnessing extremely disgusting events. The folks in this article have been through some very horrible experiences, and they can’t seem to escape their overwhelming sensation of revulsion whenever they think about it.
Story 1:
My brother’s girlfriend arrived to meet us for the first time. She was beautiful, but after a time, we detected a horrible odor emanating from her. We remained silent and didn’t say anything, but the scent worsened. After she had departed, I went to the guest bathroom and was horrified to discover meters and meters of toilet paper saturated in what appeared to be beef stew.
I was perplexed and questioned my brother about it. He grew pale and revealed to me that they had beef stew at a restaurant earlier that day before coming to see us, but he had no clue how or why it ended up in her pocketbook.

I once had a lovely, healthy taste of blueberry coffee cake. It turned out to be a standard coffee cake coated in mold. I couldn’t get the smell and flavor out of my sinuses for hours. © Youre_ARealJ***, Reddit.

I noticed two folks sitting straight across from each other on a train. One individual was sleeping. The individual sneezed, and snot and mucus landed on the sleeping passenger. When the victim awoke, they confused it for food and sucked it from their shirt. © bornadecadetoolate | Reddit
Story 4:
It was dark, and I was hungry and tired, so I put a piece of bread into my mouth and went back to sleep. It tasted the same. The next morning, I opened the bag and saw that all of the components had been entirely formed. Surprisingly, nothing happened and my stomach did not pain. © HedgehogLuna | Reddit
Story 5:
I was in a restaurant with my mother while waiting for her car to be fixed nearby. We ordered coffee and sat down. While we were sat there, a weird boy stared at us from the corner of the room while eating his burger. He spat out the mushy burger, sprinkled salt on it, and began eating it with his hands. I began vomiting and retching and had to leave immediately. © FordstopS/Reddit

While working at one of Florida’s finest amusement parks, I saw a couple washing their infant in a water fountain, which is usually found just outside the toilets. I immediately contacted the caretakers, and to this day, I refuse to drink from any drinking fountain. © So_I_Won’t_Be_Fined_ / Reddit
Story 7:
My mother purchased me this truffle Easter bunny. It was just about a month after I received it. The exterior shell seemed totally acceptable, but when I sat down and took a mouthful, I was instantly greeted with an incredibly strange, almost sour fruit flavor, and I thought, “Something’s not right.” I removed the outer shell, and to my astonishment, it was totally coated in a white/yellow fungus. copyright bumblebubee/Reddit

I spotted a man in a Walmart men’s restroom devouring a rotisserie chicken from the baby changing station. We made eye contact, exchanged strange glances, and I decided to go.

Story 9:
A few of weeks ago, I was blissfully chewing on raspberries while watching a movie in a dimly lit room, when something tasted odd. So I switched on the light and was horrified to realize that I was eating maggots. © brickbaterang/Reddit
Story 10:
My grandmother had a gigantic plant in her garden, and we used to cut the aloe to collect the gel. It was a hot day, and I was sweating. I didn’t have a better notion than using my hand to wipe the perspiration off my face, and then a bitter taste entered my mouth. I didn’t even touch my lips, yet the taste crept throughout my tongue.
I brushed my teeth. Nothing… Mouthwash… Nothing… I drank water and soda… I even ate about 250 grams of sweets and nothing! That flavor is still the grossest thing I’ve ever tasted, and that was around 25 years ago. © DemostenesWiggin / Reddit
Story 11:
When I was a youngster, I took a box of raisins out of the pantry and grabbed a couple handfuls for a midnight snack. The next morning, when the lights came on, I went to put the box back, and it was full with ants. I’m not sure if they arrived before or after I ate the raisins, but it’s still unpleasant to think about. © SFiceti/Reddit
Story 12:
As a child (10 or 11), I had leftover Chinese noodles. Knowing little about food safety, I put them in the turned-off oven for later, as I had seen my family do with leftover pizza. I forgot about it for about three days. After discovering it, I assumed it was still okay, right?
It was the slimiest, foulest thing I had ever attempted to this day. I didn’t even think about smelling it before attempting. © zeecapteinaliz/Reddit
